Grace before mealsGrace before a meal is a blessing. That means that the food is sanctified and if it is eaten in a Christian frame of mind, the meal makes you holy as well as, hopefully, enriching one's physical life.

GreetingThe Lord be with you--God go with you--Greetings in the name of the Lord
In Austria and Russia and other countries these are used as normal greetings.like hello or good morning. Liturgical greetings proclaim the presence of the Lord with the gathered community. Our Christian greeting to a friend in the street can do the same. In a written letter or in the message we write on a greeting card, a Christian greeting puts the writer and the reader into the context of God's presence |
God is my salvation;I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JE-HO-VAH

Group prayerOur Lord said "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, *I am in their midst" Mt 18:20
It would seem therefore that a group of people who meet together, conscious of our Lord, and eager to do his will, are likely to find not only friendship, union, support, but also-if He wills it-a special presence of Christ. It is reasonable to suppose that some style of prayer could afford experience of this fact and be a response to this specific presence. Let us call it Group Prayer. A group of people who consciously intend to open themselves to that special presence are engaged in group prayer, even if they are praying in silence. GROUP PRAYER can be defined as prayer with others, outside the Church's official Liturgy, where those praying open themselves to awareness of "Jesus in their midst". The act of faith in Christ's presence is important. If Christ is known by all to be present and they act accordingly, then all that happens will be prayer. There is a difference between experiencing the kingdom of heaven established and experiencing an abortive session of group dynamics. If Christ is present to all: people will not speak at too great a length, they will be honest, they will not sermonise or speak pietistically- all this sort of thing shrivels on the lips when we know Christ is present-- nothing false, contrived, or artificial can be said or done. To meet with others so closely, to be able (at last) to talk together about what one really feels, to open oneself to God and then , to see a little way into each others's hearts as we respond to God, to be able to speak to God with others supporting-- this is to meet at a deep level. With men among whom one has found God, the Sermon on the Mount begins to look feasible. |
"The Lord Will Provide"as it is said to this day "In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.

Hail MaryWe have the prayer the "Hail Mary" composed from the account of the Angel Gabriel's words to Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Elizabeth's words to her as well as her own words from the Magnificat (from Luke 1:44-45)
The second half of the prayer grew from the subsequent devotion of the Church Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen. |

Prophetic Healing PrayerThis means listening to God and speaking out what he gives us to say.
We need to be listening to Father God at all times, asking him what he wants to do. Jesus' ministry of healing is a prophetic ministry. Jesus only did what he saw the Father do, and said just what the Father told him to say. (see John 5:19 and 12:49. |

Intellectual prayer, of the mind, is not complete.
It is necessary to bring down the mind into the heart, to unite the mind with the heart. Prayer then becomes truly "prayer of the heart" |
